2016 COSIA – AI-EES Oil Sands Water Conference
COSIA’s second Water Conference will take place in partnership with Alberta Innovates Energy and Environment Solutions (AI-EES) on March 22 to 23, 2016 at the BMO Centre, Stampede Park in Calgary, Alberta.
The event will build on the success of COSIA’s first Water Conference in 2014, to continue the legacy of best-in-class discussions on water management in Alberta’s oil sands industry set by CONRAD’s five Water Usage Workshops.
2015 COSIA Performance Update Webcast
The 2015 Performance Update allowed us to share the progress our member companies made towards achieving our vision; to enable responsible and sustainable growth of Canada’s Oil Sands while delivering accelerated improvement in environmental performance through collaborative action and innovation. We showcased the many ways innovators from other sectors and industries can contribute to achieving that vision including through the NRG COSIA Carbon XPRIZE.
The event included panel sessions with members of COSIA’s Shareholder Steering Committee, as well as with Member Company CEOs, Associate Members and a representative from the XPRIZE Foundation.
BC Innovation Council’s Cleantech Energy Innovation Challenge Webcast
The Cleantech Energy Innovation Challenge was presented by BCIC and COSIA in partnership with energy industry partners. This workshop brought together BC cleantech firms and university researchers to learn more about key innovation challenges identified by COSIA.
BCIC, COSIA and several industry partners provided updates on innovation in Canada’s oil sands, discussed information on funding opportunities with partner organizations and presented detailed introductions to COSIA’s water and greenhouse gases Challenges.
